The 2011 Miss Nevada Pageant in Mesquite Nevada marks the 7th annual pageant as the official Videographer! This year show had over 150 show element videos which were played during the show. Each year Grimshaw Productions arrives a day before the pageant and edits all the raw interview footage provide by Miss Nevada to short clips which are played during each phase of the competition.

Well over 400 youth and adult leaders went to Barcelona Elementary School in Mission Viejo and planted new plants and cleaned the school grounds.

If they weren’t being filmed on the live camera projected on a large projection screen they were smiling and making faces in the photo booth provided by Creative Photo Booth Rentals. Dove Canyon Courtyard recently launched a new user friendly website designed and developed by Orange County Design company Grimshaw Designs.
Weddings celebrations should be enchanting, but all too often the stress and expense of planning a wedding takes away from the joy and excitement of this special day. There are so many things to consider: Where should we hold it? How much will it cost? How can I make it a magical day and still stay within my budget? Where do I find a really great photographer? Bowl of Heaven in Rancho Santa Margarita

A few weeks ago Grimshaw Productions had a great opportunity to film a 90 second video for a great new business in Ranch Santa Margarita called Bowl of Heaven. Not only are the bowls amazing and healthy, they have all the super foods that keep your body looking young. We set up and filmed during regular business hours and between a 3 hour period we had captured enough testimonials to make a full DVD.
Almost every person interviewed said that they liked yogurt but it would cause them to have a sugar rush and then crash with energy. All agreed that not only does the bowls give a great flavor and taste and give you more energy without the crash. Grimshaw Productions enjoyed filming on location and working with Bowl of Heaven.

Teach me how to Dougie with a Chauvet Scorpion Storm FX! Great effect for small to larger venues and will fill the entire room with green and red lasers. Every time I would turn off the Scorpion Storm FX the kids would all look at the dj booth with the look of what happend! Never had a light have that kind of reaction on the crowd before. The laser is doesnt weigh very much and is varily small when it comes to effect lights. Very affordable and worth adding to any dj or club lighting truss.

After 5 years in retirement from DJ school dances, weddings, and other events Grimshaw Sound & Video is back in business. Here is a little history of Grimshaw Sound & Video.
Grimshaw Sound Studios was founded by Scott and Teresa Grimshaw in 1997. They built a recording studio in 1999. Grimshaw has credits for producing Kids N Company a local show choir as well as recording High School Band Concerts and SUU Acclamation. With all the new equipment only being used for only a few shows each year, we decided to keep it working every weekend by booking high school dances. Early 1999 Grimshaw Sound Studios was one of the first DJ to ever play all their music off a computer which was a start of a new era of DJing. Always being integrative with technology in 2002 not only were we playing music off a computer we were playing Music Videos on (4) TV across our lighting truss. Always being a head of our competitors we were able to DJ every Dance Canyon View High School in Cedar City Utah Held from 2000 to 2004.
Now serving Southern Orange County we are already booking dances and events. With all the equipment not being used but a few times each year the last few years we have been upgrading equipment. This has been very long process. I am the type of person who likes to find a supplier of equipment that helps me find not only the best prices but the highest quality of equipment. Were I live there is a guitar center and for DJ equipment that’s about it. We are not a I-pod DJ that uses the cheapest equipment available. So I started looking for a online supplier that was on the west coast. I called and talked to several company based in Los Angles. The first few places I called did not seem helpful. The 3rd place i called was www.hollywooddj.com . At the time I was looking for a new lighting truss and had several in mind. I called on a wed and need the truss on Friday. A Night at Family IQ with Peter Vidmar

Grimshaw Productions was hired by Family IQ to produce a video of Gold Medalist and Olympic champion Peter Vidmar. The video was a video testimonial for a email newsletter.
We decided to film in the entry way of Family IQ Headquarters in Rancho Santa Margarita. We used the new Canon T2I Rebel photo and video camera. For a camera that can fit in the palm of my hand I am very pleased with quality of the video that the Canon T2I produced. I have used larger shoulder cams but for the quality and ease of use the Canon T2i is incredible.
The Family IQ intro was designed in Adobe Photoshop and motion was added with Adobe After Effects.
It was great to work with Peter Vidmar and Family IQ.

We filmed the entire convention as well testimonial interviews with members and Dr Joe. We had a great time at the convention interacting with all the members and Pinnacle Leaders.
